THE SNOWBLANKET | SNJÓBREIÐAN

Every year nature covers the land with snow; like a blanket it puts all the plants to sleep over the winter. The snow has also more dramatic sides. From ancient times people have had to bury themselves under the snow to stay alive if they get lost in a snowstorm.
A layer of snow isolates heat and can therefore save many lives. This blanket is meant to give isolation and protection. It is dedicated to all the survivors but also those who passed away.
